Registration and changing your password in Hoas online services

When you use our services for the first time, we will ask you to register. Registration includes verifying your identity because the service processes your personal data. You can check which parts of your personal data we process in the privacy policy.

When you register, please use the email address in the contact information you have provided to Hoas. When you register, the application will direct you to creating a password for the service. In the future, you can use your email address/password combination to log in.

Applicants

When you wish to update your apartment application, extend its validity period, or accept an offer, log in to the applicant services at apply.test.test.dev.hoas.fi

Tenants

Tenants use the mytest.test.dev.hoas.fi address to log in to tenant services.

If you are registered to the service as an applicant, you can use the same credentials to log in to the tenant services as well. Tenant services will become available to you once your rental agreement period starts.

Identification

You can identify yourself using your banking passwords, mobile ID, or text message identification.

If you wish to use your banking passwords or mobile ID for identification, choose strong identification as the method. The application will take you to identifying yourself and creating a password to the service.

  1. Choose Register as a user, Strong identification, and Identification. You will be directed to strong identification via banking passwords or mobile ID. Follow the identification service’s instructions. Identification uses Telia’s service.
  2. After you have identified yourself, enter your email address and choose a password. The password must contain a minimum of six characters, of which at least one must be an uppercase letter; at least one a lowercase letter; at least one a number; and at least one a special character.
  3. You will receive an email with a link to activating your registration. The confirmation link will be valid for 24 hours. The link will redirect you to a page where you can confirm your registration by entering your email address and password.

Identification via SMS

If you do not have Finnish banking passwords or mobile ID, you can use identification via text message (SMS autentication).

  1. Choose Register as a user and then SMS autentication. This identification method will direct you to providing your email address and telephone number and ordering a single-use code to your phone. You will receive a code in a text message sent by Hoas. These types of codes will be valid for two minutes.
  2. Enter the single-use code in the provided space. After this, enter your email address and choose a password. The password must contain a minimum of six characters, of which at least one must be an uppercase letter; at least one a lowercase letter; at least one a number; and at least one a special character.
  3. You will receive an email with a link to activating your registration. The confirmation link will be valid for 24 hours. The link will redirect you to a page where you can confirm your registration by entering your email address and password.

Didn’t receive the text message?

If you requested the code as a text message but never received it for some reason, we can create the identification for you. For this, we request that you send us a copy of your identification document or passport in an encrypted email message (https://dev.hoas.fi/en/contact/confidential-email/) to housingservices@test.test.dev.hoas.fi. We will contact you once identification is complete and you can continue creating your credentials. Follow these steps:

  1. Choose Register as a user and then Office identification. You will be directed to entering your email address and choosing a password. The password must contain a minimum of six characters, of which at least one must be an uppercase letter; at least one a lowercase letter; at least one a number; and at least one a special character.
  2. You will receive an email with a link to activating your registration. The confirmation link will be valid for 24 hours. The link will redirect you to a page where you can confirm your registration by entering your email address and password.

Changing your password or username

You can request a link to change your password on the login page. The link will be sent to your email. The link will be sent from noreply@tampuuri.fi and it will be valid for 24 hours. The password must contain a minimum of six characters, of which

  • at least one must be an uppercase letter,
  • at least one must be a lowercase letter,
  • at least one must be a number,
  • at least one must be a special character.

If you change your email address, update the new address in your personal information in MyHoas. After this, submit a new registration to the service using your new email address.
